76 Chaos: The Whip, The Chair & The Formidable Beast

Remember! When I refer to person in the Godhead in any blog, I am referring either to singular person (one-of-three) or to the collective person (three-in-one) of the Triune.

Now, dear reader, it is necessary to gain some comprehension of this formidable beast of chaos I mentioned last blog. Then we can grapple with God’s influence upon the creature (if you will).

Best we start with general findings first, though.

Again, as noted in the previous blog, the term chaos has undergone transformation in the 20^th century. The result? As we moderns have encountered it in our time, chaos can now be tied to Chaos Theory—an effort largely aimed at examining, well, scientifically examining the large, actually the impossibly large!

In the 20^th century, as a result of Quantum Theory, people felt very modern saying, “God is in the details”.

But, lo and behold, now—in the current 21^st century—people can be found with a new quip to bandy about: God is in the pattern! Source? Science, of course.

Data processing has led to the ability of moderns to observe new (to them) phenomena, specifically with reference to chaos, by manipulating the large— large increments of information— and in so doing, various scientists have encountered pattern and beauty in all large chaotic systems. Wonder why? God, of course. Pattern and Beauty are great favorites of God. (Believe me I just put some very careful and heavy thinking into almost 25 words or less—typical of an airhead debutante! At any rate, the significant word in my little treatise here on chaos is pattern. For example, God keeps saying to us (in the Bible) that just because we cannot grasp what He is saying, it does not mean that what He says is not true. It’s just that the truth is too large for us to comprehend. God’s pattern is always truth and it only fully comes out in the large. (Note: to add to the burden of understanding, any small system can be called large and patterns therefore found in it. For example, a single wave on the ocean has inherent unique patterns inherent, just as the whole ocean has inherent patterns within and both pattern systems can be discerned when examined as extreme data phenomenon.}

But back to the largest of the large. In all cases, sometimes the large is too large, with much-too-much interweaving of too many threads for us wee people to see the pattern emerge. For example, we look at our world, our life and our times and fail to see them for what they are—a fragment of time where life (including ourselves) exists only for a time and only in a certain way, or at least that was true in the Garden until Adam & Eve couldn’t keep their hands off the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. When they overstepped their boundaries in the Garden, then and there, by their choice, evil in the form of unleashed, and now unmanaged, chaos emerged with a fury, destabilizing Creation. Now managed chaos and unmanaged chaos existed simultaneously within the same Creation.
