Then there is this to ponder, Gentle Reader.
Again and again, Scripture paints a picture, in verse, of
how what we people think is what we do, and then how what we do becomes our habit and, finally, how our habit
becomes our character.
It was a great insight to me when, after years of
subconsciously pondering this divine reiteration, I ultimately began to consciously
perceive the reality of it, and that this reality painted throughout Scripture
is no accident! It has purpose—divine communication—to show how people, for better or for worse, go down the
roads they go—people such as Adam and Eve, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; Joseph,
Moses, Joshua, King David and Solomon; Christ Jesus, Matthew, Mark Luke and
John; Peter and Paul and all the people of the Old and New Testament and all
the apostles and disciples of Jesus, to mention but a few.
