Meaning: “conveying a significance that is not directly expressed . . .”
“The Heavenly Father wants His children to have abundant, meaningful lives. (Dr. Charles Stanley, In Touch Magazine, Early Light, August 2010, Wednesday the 4th, p. 34).
What the Trickster wants is not what God wants, Gentle Reader. God wants believers to live under His influence, not Satan’s.
According to Scripture:
God is Sovereign (Psalm 130:4, NKJV).
He accounts for all things (1 Corinthians 15:22, 27).
God accounts for all injustice either by judgment (Romans 2:2) or by the compensating death of Christ on the cross (John 3:16).
God rules all things with justice and compassion (Romans 9:15).
God calls believers to compassion for self and others (1 Peter 3:8).
God wants us to know that all short-coming (sin) is ultimately against Him and His ways and it was, is and always will be that way (Isaiah 53:12).
According to Scripture:
God wants us to live a guilt-free not guilt-ridden life (John 8:36).
God wants us to live forgiven (1 John 1:9).
God wants us to forgive (Matthew 6:12) and forget (Philippians 3:13).
God wants us to have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
God wants us to live under the rule of peace as He does, not under the rule of emotion (Colossians 3:15; John 14:27).
God wants us to live under the rule of reason derived from His positive value system based on pure goodness (Romans 9:14).
And if you, as am I, are fortunate enough that you had God-fearing parents who agreed with God, then you know these truths well and you are truly blessed. If not, it is never too late to accept God’s direction for a meaningful life.
To be guilt-free, Gentle Reader, consciously and continuously call on and count on Jesus to empower you in all things through Holy Spirit (Joel 2:28, 29).
