396 Brain Freeze and Derision

Picking up where we left off, Dear Reader, it is easy to see that the two different situations, political and Christian, can be quickly compared and appraised (using, by definition, comparative reasoning).

Actually, multiple similarities or differences in any comparison can usually be identified and summed up quickly because both involve observation of people experiencing a like situation.

Hence, of course, close on the heels of judgment (for Brain Freeze) crowds in scorn and its equally unattractive companion, derision.

Truth be known, Brain Freeze is simply being human, a generic condition that happens from time to time, especially in overworked people. And it is simply contemptible behavior when the beholder is derisive and scornful, in total disregard of how well or poorly such a one as himself would do in the same situation.

Brain Freeze in general, Dear Reader, is simply a human foible—a regular type of snafu in human thinking. Studies show this.

Therefore, one would think Brain Freeze would not elicit such powerful emotional reactions!

To be continued . . .
